Harvey Awards 2025 Winners Announced
Skip to commentsThe Harvey Award winners were announced tonight at the end of the New York Comic Con. The Harvey Awards honors books and creators working in sequential art. Additionally, six individuals were inducted into the Harvey Awards Hall of Fame. Here are the inductees and the category winners.
Harvey Awards Hall of Fame Inductees





- Wendy and Richard Pini, husband and wife team behind the ElfQuest series of comics and graphic novels.
- Patrick McDonnell, creator of the comic strip “Mutts“, “The Super Hero’s Journey“
- John Byrne, notable artist for “X-Men,” “Fantastic Four”, and “Superman”
- Peter David, awarded posthumously for his work on “The Incredible Hulk,” “Star Trek”, and “Fallen Angel”
- Barbara Shermund, awarded posthumously, was one of the first women cartoonists to work for “The New Yorker”.
Book of the Year
