The AAEC 2026 Convention Dates and Preliminary Schedule

In celebration of the quasquicentennial when California legislators repealed their anti-cartoon law the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists (AAEC) has decided to return to that state’s capitol for the organization’s 2026 convention.
This year, Association of American Editorial Cartoonists are taking over California’s capital.
We will have an internal schedule for AAEC-members only and a public schedule where we can promote your work.
See you in Sacramento, CA, this September 17-20!

Sacramento’s history through editorial cartooning at the Sacramento Central Library (2nd Floor, Archival Room).
