Have added Diamond Lil to our 2025 list of Departures and Rubes to the 2025 Deviations list.

Diamond Lil by Brett Koth

Diamond Lil has been in rerun status since the September 29 dailies and the October 12, Sundays.

Rubes by Leigh Rubin

As for Rubes – In Spring of 2025 the panel went new for Monday Tuesday Wednesday and rerun for Thursday Friday Saturday and kept that schedule through the end of the year. Sundays have been all new since July 6, 2025.

  1. This is how it all ends. More reruns. They’re easier and cheaper to produce than something new and as the amount of success that can be found goes down, everybody folds one by one.

  2. Fifty percent of Leigh Rubin is definitely worth more than 5% of Patrick McDonnell.
