Small Press Expo (SPX) has announced its 2025 Ignatz Award nominees. The award recognizes outstanding achievement in comics and cartooning and honors “exceptional work that challenges popular notions of what comics can achieve, both as an art form and as a means of personal expression.”
Voting is open to anyone — even those not attending SPX. You can request a ballot on the event’s website. Voting is done via email. Voting ends on 8 p.m. Eastern on Friday, Sept. 12. The winners will be announced on the final night of the expo, Sept. 14.
Congratulations and best of luck to all the nominees.
