Submissions Open for 2025 Galway Cartoon Festival

The Galway Cartoon Festival, held annually in Ireland, is open for submissions for this year’s event. This year’s theme is “Danse Macabre”—think the mysterious, the seasonal and supernatural, the liminal and grotesque, witches, monsters, mythologies, life and death itself. The festival will be held from October 3 to 8.

The festival is open to all cartoonists. You can submit as many cartoons as you like. Cartoons on the theme will have a higher chance of being included. The submission deadline is August 30, 2025. Selected cartoons will be exhibited throughout the festival and on their website.
