Robert L. Ariail has been named The 2025 Green Eyeshade Award winner for Editorial Cartoons published in 2024. It is the eighth time Robert has taken the first place award!
Since 1950, The Green Eyeshades have recognized the very best journalism in the southeastern United States (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia).
The 2025 Green Eyeshade Awards were announced July 11, 2025. The winners and finalists list is here.
Clay Bennett and John Deering took second and third places respectively.
