2025 AAEC Convention Registration Now Open

The Association of American Editorial Cartoonists (AAEC) has set up hotel booking and registration for their 2025 Convention being held at Bethseda Maryland from September 11th through the 14th.
Hotel booking is now available at the Bethesda North Marriott [link added]. We have a block of rooms set aside for the AAEC at $140 a night.

Select “I have an access code” from the list box and enter AAECSPX25 as your code to reserve your room.
NOTE: Please DO NOT USE the “Attendee” selection from the drop down, as that is for SPX guests and they have a separate room block.

The fee for this year is $175 for members and member guests.
The lineups for workshops, panels, and events are still in the early stages for both conventions.
Our confab starts Thursday, September 11, with a happy hour and welcome at the hotel bar. Friday has AAEC specific panels and programming, along with the annual business meeting. Saturday sees the start of SPX, where we will have panels open to the public and a table on the convention floor. We’ll have updates regarding the panel lineup in the coming weeks.
