Joe Martin is one of a handful of ridiculously prolific cartoonists, producing "Willy and Ethel," "Cats With Hands" and this strip, "Mr. Boffo," seven days a week. The strips are heavily themed, so he's not casting about wildly for ideas, but it's still three gags a day times 365 days, and, in fact, more than that, since some of his Sundays consist of multiple individual panels.

He's also a ridiculously funny guy, which helps.
