CSotD: Grimm news from the insurance industry

When Mike Peters began Mother Goose and Grimm, it was not often about the title characters. He admits to having patterned it on "The Far Side" both for its odd and random subject matter. I don't dislike the strips dealing with the old lady and her dog, but I get more laughs out of the ones that take on nursery rhymes or, in this case, Biblical stories. Peters is also a political cartoonist and his humor tends to cross the line — not only does he take on larger issues in MG&G as here, but his political cartoons have been described as "too funny" in the sense that the anger of his politics tends to be blunted by his humorous drawings.
Me, I like humor.
