Peanuts creator Charles Schulz will featured on an upcoming episode of PBS’s “American Masters” program. The episode, according to E&P includes interviews with members of the Schulz family, Jules Feiffer, Lynn Johnston and Schulz biographer David Michaelis.The episode is scheduled for October 29th.
Canadian Editorial Cartoonist Peter Whalley, whose career started before World War II when he was 16 has passed away at the age of 86. The Gazette has an excellent article about his life and accomplishments. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Smith whom he married in 1948 and his three daughters.
Brad McMillan, whose editorial cartoons appeared in the Memphis Business Journal since 1983, has passed away at age 61. Brad originally taught english in Jackson Tennessee, but switched careers and moved to Memphis to pursue a career in art.
