Cartoonist KAL: Baltimore’s Best

Baltimore Magazine has proclaimed Kevin Kallaugher aka KAL as the best in the area.

Baltimore Magazine

KAL tells us:

I was delighted to learn that the 50th Anniversary edition of Baltimore Magazine named me the region’s best cartoonist. I was particularly taken by the kind words that accompanied their announcement.

KAL gives us the Baltimore Magazine’s assessment of his talent which reads in part:

Simply put, his critiques of the wars in Gaza and Ukraine, and especially those of the insatiable, power-hungry resident of the White House, are as sharp as any political writer knocking out columns today. Which makes his firing, after 31 years at The Sun, all the more unfathomable.

  1. When billionaires and corporations are buying newspapers right and left, often for hundreds of millions of dollars, it makes me think somebody is pulling the wool over our eyes about how they can’t afford to pay journalists and cartoonists.

  2. It’s pure greed, censorship, and darkness trying to get control of OUR country! Resist them!
