Adam Zyglis is Sigma Delta Chi Award Winner for 2024

The Society of Professional Journalists has announced the recipients of the 2024 Sigma Delta Chi Awards for excellence in journalism. In the Editorial Cartooning category for 2024 the honoree is Adam Zyglis.

In announcing Adam as the winner the judges said (in the 53rd minute time frame):

Zyglis is an artist of very few words but the ones he chooses are a gut punch. At his best he doesn’t make you smile he makes you wince at the reality you’re smacked with.

Adam responded to the win:

I’m honored to win the 2024 Sigma Delta Chi Award for Editorial Cartooning, given by the Society of Professional Journalists!

  1. Zyglis mocked children who drowned in a deadly flood. Children. May he live a long life filled with awards and nightmares of screaming children drowning.

  2. Adam is a soulless piece of meat who doesn’t even deserve to be called a human being. Psycho makes fun of people who died in a natural disaster and is a massive racist.

  3. Zyglis is simply beneath contempt. The hatred he spends his life wallowing in will eventually consume him. Everyone with a sense of decency and humanity should distance themselves from this cancer
