In a stroke of genius, he created the cartoon bank and later sold it to the New Yorker. The bank has over 85,000 cartoons that it licenses out to be published in books, magazines, slide shows and recently published “The Complete Cartoons of the New Yorker” which had every cartoon published in the New Yorker since 1925.
