Stacy Curtis let go from Times of Northwest Indiana

From Mark Anderson’s blog comes news that editorial cartoonist Stacy Curtis has been let go from his gig at Times of Northwest Indiana.

Fellow Chicago area cartoonist Stacy Curtis was unceremoniously escorted out of his job at the NWI Times yesterday.

Curtis was allowed only his car keys, coat and what he brought in with him that day. This weekend he’ll be allowed back under the supervision of two managers to collect any other personal belongings.

I’ll follow the story and find out the details. More to come I’m sure.

  1. Artist often times get treated badly in the workplace. Being a cartoonist, (editorial and comic strip). I’d been through it many times before I started my own business.

I’m glad Curtis is now able to have the last laugh considering his sucess. Could you tell me why he was let go?

    Thanks,
    Bob
