I love the Phantom, but 26 volumes of the daily strips at $50-$60 per volume? I don’t love him that much.
With any series, that eventually becomes a problem…you either run out of space to put them, money, or discover you’ve hit the saturation point and just can’t get excited about yet another volume.
Ditto Prince Valiant, but the strips are gorgeous and the presentation impeccable.
