In a State of Confusion About AMP
Skip to commentsThis story about a new AMP Comics comic book brings up something that is troubling me.
When I combine AMP and comics my mind goes to Andrews McMeel Publishing’s AMP Comics for Kids but for the past year AMP Comics is what comes up in the news feeds.

Then there are the Amy M. Perrin picture books for kids.
I could understand the Association of Pencil Manufacturers or the American Museum Placard Co. using the AMP monogram, but three companies publishing illustrated books seems bonkers.
Can someone explain how this gets around trademark laws?
