It is not unusual for editoonists to use sports in their cartoons, especially during the time surrounding The Super Bowl, The World Cup, March Madness, and other big sports events. It is natural for them to analogize the game of the day with the politics of the day.
And of course they celebrate the home team winning a championship.
However…
For the past week or two Fox Sports Cartoons have been showing up in my searches. I’m guessing the wider reach has something to do with Outkick creator, sports commentator, and de facto MAGA spokesman Clay Travis having completely turned the site over to MAGA defender Fox News recently.

Big changes are coming to Outkick, the digital sports and culture brand founded by Clay Travis, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Outkick is being integrated into Fox News Digital, with Travis exiting the site, where he ran day-to-day operations and worked as talent.
Sports cartoonists Will O’Toole and Jim Hunt are both editorial cartoonists, but for Outkick it seems they have been specifically asked to meld the two practices with, of course a definite far right outlook. These cartoons would fit comfortably among the cartoon archives of BizPac Review, Townhall, National Review, and other of similar ilk.
What surprises me is that there are no straight sports subjects, they all must be tied to a political agenda.
