Netflix to Release ‘My Two Cents’ by Italian Cartoonist Zerocalcare

Netflix will debut “Due Spicci” (My Two Cents) an animation series by Italian cartoonist Zerocalcare (Michele Rech) on May 27. The show is based on Zerocalcare’s character Zero, loosely based on himself as a socially awkward cartoonist and his friends Secco, Sara and his armadillo.
This is his third Netflix series. His first two: “Strappare lungo i bordi” (Tear Along the Dotted Line) and “Questo mondo non mi renderà cattivo” (This World Can’t Tear Me Down) debuted in 2021 and 2023 respectively.
Due Spicci’s premise: Zero and Wild Boar run a small bar, but financial troubles and misunderstandings put them both under pressure — just as a figure from the past returns.
