CSotD: … after that, it takes nine months

Bud Grace is capable of setting up seemingly significant plot shifts in Piranha Club and then blowing them away with a simple flick of the reset button — often starring himself. And that may still be in the offing.
But it's starting to look like Ernie is really headed down the aisle, and not a moment too soon.
Granted, Darrin Bell set up a pregnant-girlfriend scenario over in Candorville some time ago, which started as a potential shotgun wedding but has since morphed into a very complex plotline of a lying psycho woman, a guilt-ridden main character and a child whose paternity is an open question. But most of the arcs over there could end with "Forget it, Lemont. It's Candorville."
The Piranha Club also has its own set of rules and continuity is not one of them. Still, this looks like it might happen. If it does, it will add some new elements to the strip. And, if it doesn't, it's still worth watching, if only to see how it's handled in a medium that doesn't normally allow for a lot of PG-13 rated material.
Today's gag is pretty funny, anyway. Dad's been casting stones since the arc began.
