Marla's right. It's a holiday and we should all be closed.

Wuerker
Well, what we really should be doing is having Thanksgiving dinner Matt Wuerker style.

*sigh*

But having worked alternate holidays in the newsroom, I'm still of the opinion that the show must go on, so what I'm going to do is give you the comics and let you figure out which ones are outstanding and which are so-so and which are simply a sad reflection the state of the art.

The state of the art 75 years ago, that is, on Thanksgiving Day, Nov 20, 1941.

  1. My goodness!! I’m giving thanks to you for comicstripoftheday! They sure used a lot more drawing and a lot more words in the strips 75 years ago! …and that Glenn Miller puddingy sound came as a perfect desert!

  2. oooo! Noooo! Not desert!…Dessert!!!
