CSotD: Matt Bors on Afghanistan

I've been hoping that Matt Bors would pull his Afghanistan cartoons into one place where you could leaf through them in order, but the best I can do is point you to his blog, where they are mixed in with some other things, but there nonetheless.
It's worth the scrolling, because, while Bors is often highly political in his work, his reflections on the week that he, Ted Rall and Steven Cloud recently spent traveling through Afghanistan have been more personal, more of a report on who these people are and what the cartoonists found over there.
This example of how common things can become exotic treats is one example but don't expect that one entry will encapsulate them all, because there is a variety within his reflections.
And Cloud's photo stream is here and contains a lot of photos of the trip, although he has apparently been to a wedding and a concert since then. It's easy enough to find, isolate and view the Afghan stuff, which is quite good.
