Wiley Miller is a bit of a media junkie, so it's quite possible that he knew the 40th anniversary of the ATM was coming up next month when he drew this Non Sequitur.

However, the comics sections were already printed and delivered to newspapers around the country when this happened.

It's either quite a coincidence or the genesis of a new show called "CSI Drawing Board."
