Detroit News editorial cartoonist Henry Payne has started a blog on his paper’s web site. Entitled Henry Payne’s Sketchbook, it contains, roughs and finished editorial cartoons.Thanks Charles Brubaker for the link.

I took the full weekend off and so I didn’t see the second banned Opus strip until late last night. Personally, I thought it was even more benign than last weeks.

According to the AAEC web site, Craig Terry, who has been the editorial cartoonist and graphics editor of Northwest Florida Daily News was let go in an apparent buy out. Craig has been doing editorial cartoonist in Florida for over 25 years.

An exhibit that opened this week in Fremont Ohio is featuring 100 19-century political cartoons that originally appeared in weekly publications.
