Gag writer Speedy Zawistowski has passed away.
Rollin William (Speedy) Zawistowski
March 31, 1926 – June 26, 2022

He owned a green rowboat named the Alfred E. Neuman.
In 2005, he moved to Philadelphia and then State College, and married Dr. Mary McCubbin. In State College, he attended Christian Science Bible Study and continued his lifelong work as a gagwriter, selling gags to cartoonists all over the country and writing a column in the Gag Recap.
Along with The Gag Recap column he was a “longtime member” Cartoonists Northwest.
