Recently The Fergus Falls (Minnesota) Daily Journal replaced
Brian Crane’s Pickles with Tundra by Chad Carpenter.
This is sure to upset the older subscribers who make up the majority of newspaper readers.
On the other hand comic strips are not just supposed to entertain but to attract and retain new readers. Tundra will surely appeal to a younger demographic.
