Loren Fishman gets recognition for his Mallard Fillmore work when his name is added to the Sunday title panel tomorrow, the first new Sunday Mallard since November 2019.

 

Elsewhere in the Kingdom some strips are still adjusting to the new reality:

King Features Syndicate has issued a correction for Mutts Sunday for 4/5.
At creator’s request, due to current events, a strip was replaced.

King Features Syndicate has issued a correction for Fast Track black and white for 4/11.
At creator’s request, due to current events, a strip/panel involving a graveyard was replaced.

King Features Syndicate has issued a correction for Zits Sunday for 4/12.
At creator’s request, due to current events, a strip involving a large gathering was replaced.


King Features Syndicate has issued a correction for Family Circus Sunday for 4/12.
At creator’s request, due to current events, the 4/12 Sunday involving the family going to church was replaced.

 

Still no news about new Amazing Spider-Man strips. The current story will end mid-June with the next one in line from 2016 starring Dr. Strange. Sooner or later they will have to start new adventures, or go deeper into the archives (à la Tarzan).

 

We are reliably informed that Walter Reimer, police liasion for the Dick Tracy comic strip, has prepared a number of Coronaviris scams that will begin running on 5/3 as part of Dick Tracy’s Crimestoppers Textbook.
