Lincoln Peirce sets Guinness World Record for largest cartoon strip by a team

Missed this, but nonetheless very cool. Big Nate creator Lincoln Peirce was on the Today show as the Guinness Book of World Records certified that a panel of Big Nate cartoons drawn by schoolchildren from around the country broke the world record as the largest cartoon strip by a team. The previous record was 3,320 feet, 2 inches set by French students. Lincoln’s panels was 3,920 feet.

Here’s the clip from the Today show.
