» Ed Stein, isn’t bringing back his long running local comic Denver Square, but as he puts it, he “couldn?t resist doing a couple of sketches, using the characters, to comment on a couple of local stories”

» This Thursday, J.C. Duffy’s The Fusco Brothers will announce whether the faithful canine companion is really a dog or a wolverine. Apparently it’s been a mystery since 1989.

» Secret Asian Man creator Tak Toyoshima will be honored at this year’s National Japanese American Historical Society Awards dinner on Saturday, March 21. Disney and Hanna-Barbera animator Willie Ito will also receive an award.

» Kevin “KAL” Kallaugher is the cover story of the first edition of the University of Maryland Baltimore County’s UMBC Magazine. KAL has been the Artist-in-Residence at the university since he was laid off from the Baltimore Sun in 2006. Speaking of KAL, he is providing a cartoon illustration for the March 24th Frontline television show titled “Ten Trillion and Counting.”
