Stephan Pastis to appear second time on CNBC

Just got word from United Media that Pearls Before Swine creator Stephan Pastis is appearing for a second time on CNBC’s “The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch.” Air date is Monday (March 3rd) at 10 p.m. and 1 a.m.

I’ll post video if it hits YouTube.

Will this be a re-run… or Part II of the previous

Since the Bad Cartoonist came along, other news topics

Poor Pastis — a has-been already.

Poor Mr. pastis was the meat in a snore sandwitch between know it all yenta Marianne talking about her boring self-improvement book and three bored housewifes that were inspired by hot flashes to form a “rock band”.

The Mydols. Harumph! The show was a waste of time. Stephan got to say a few words before the cackling started. He looked like he was thinking something along the lines of what I’m typing…

…I love Donny’s show, but this one was a stinker. At least they gave a quick plug for the new Pearls Before Swine book.

Are you saying that Pastis was just talk-show filler?

I agree with Eric. That was a disappointment. Almost wasn’t worth taping.

Oh well, at least I know that there’s a new book coming.

I finally watched this and the original interview the other day.

Why is Stephan in shape? I got into this business thinking it’s ruled by pale, chubby, bald guys, and now…my artist and editor are both in shape and eat healthy, Stephan is thin and has all his hair, I read that Scott Adams is all into health food, Dan Piraro is a vegitarian, etc, etc.

Then I remebered that Cathy Guisewite was hot when I used to watch her on the Tonight Show!!!!

WTH, people?

If Berke Breathed is a power lifter, or Bill Watterson left comics to try out for the Olympics, don’t tell me!
