Clay Bennett leaves Christian Science Monitor for Chattanooga Times

The Chattanooga Times has announced that they are replacing editorial cartoonist Bruce Plante, who left for the Tulsa World position, with Pulitzer Prize winner Clay Bennett who is currently at the Christian Science Monitor. Clay officially begins his duties there on January 1 where he will do four black and white and one color cartoon a week for the paper. Clay has worked at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette (PA), Fayette Times (NC), St. Petersburg Times (FL) and the Christian Science Monitor. He grew up in the south (Alabama), which may have been the pull to take this position.
