Washington Examiner replaces their comics with puzzles

From Mike Rhode comes news that the Washington Examiner has dropped all of their comics and replaced them with puzzles.

Over the years, they went from two full pages, to one half page and now to none. They invite comments on their website.

Perhaps they’ll take a cue from the L.A. Post-Telegram as well as the L.A. Daily News who recently dropped large numbers of their comics only to bring them back under reader protest.

  1. Yeah, well, the NY Daily News dropped near a quarter of its comics in January, 2007. I blogged about it a couple of times, but the paper has not published any complaints that I know of.

    Grumble, grumble …
