Cartoon exhibit at Library of Congress

“Cartoon America: Highlights from the Art Wood Collection of Cartoon and Caricature” will run from Nov. 2 to Jan. 27 at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.. On display will be original artwork from Rube Goldberg, Bill Mauldin, Pat Oliphant, George Herriman (“Krazy Kat”), Lynn Johnston (“For Better or For Worse”), Winsor McCay (“Little Nemo in Slumberland”), Charles Schulz (“Peanuts”), and others, according to Editor and Publisher.

  1. The show was extended till February 24th. I went down to see it yesteday (2-24), and there was a good sized crowd, even a few tour groups. An excellent show, and in the prettiest building in DC, too.
