Spring meeting scheduled for Great Lakes NCS chapter

The Great Lakes chapter of the NCS will meet the 25th of this month for their spring meeting. Details and locations on their web site.

Alien though the notion of fresh air may be to pasty-skinned cartoonists, the spring meeting of the NCS Great Lakes Chapter will be held in the convention center of scenic Salt Fork State Park in Cambridge, Ohio (roughly equidistant from Columbus, Cleveland and Pittsburgh.)

  1. Aristo, that’s some long name you have! You must hate writing checks.

Thanks for bringing back a two year old post that no one responded to the first time. Are you a NCS Great Lakes Chapter member?

Did no one show up to the meeting and you’re still holding a grudge? Let it go, man. Let it go. That kind of stress will kill you…

  3. Yeah, Gary, Eric is probably talking to yet another one of his alter egos. Let’s see, first there was Joltman, and then Johnnie. This new “Aristo” personality sounds more hateful and bitter. That’s what comes from working in retail too long! 😉

Aristo sounds like a drag queen name, doesn’t it?

  5. I can’t even remember the posters name, but it was a link to some gambling or check cashing website or some crap like that. It was three names long(ex: “Aristo____ Check Cashing”), hence the quip about hating to write checks.

So, I wasn’t talking to myself, Gary. Although I’m not above that. I’m good conversation.

Good memory, Dawn! I still remember your initial shock in finding out that innocent “Joltman” was also that dirty old stayout, “Throbbin’ Johnny”! And you’re right: all those retail hours have torched my memory like a marshmallow at a campfire.

I can remember a post from seven years ago, but not one from last night! Alzheimer’s, here I come…

  9. To those wondering about Eric’s last statement, he’s responding to a Geiko spam that got through the spam filters. Since I routinely delete all spam, any comments responding to spam will seem a bit like that crazy aunt that we all have that talks to herself or blurts out statements with no relation to the current topic.

    Sorry Eric.
