The South East Chapter of the National Cartoonists Society held their annual meeting at Salisbury, North Carolina’s Waterworks Visual Arts Center this past weekend. As mentioned here earlier Marcus Hamilton was there with his art exhibit “Two Dream Careers: From Illustrator to Cartoonist” and animator Eddie Pittman was there with his presentation.
And they honored members with awards.
Tim Oliphant was honored with The 2021 Meglin Award for Volunteerism, while Snuffy Smith cartoonist John Rose grabbed the Jack Davis Award for South East Cartoonist Of The Year.
