  1. Somehow, I missed knowing what this is about. (I was absent for a few days.) (Do I need a note from my mother?)

I would like to send my OWN book that I wrote and drew, because it is gentle and sweet and impossibly naive, and full of singing and dancing. A hopelessly ineffective antidote to everything else. So, seriously, how do I get in on this? Who has organised this “send a soldier a book” thing? How do I nominate my stupid pacifistic book? How many box-tops do I need to include? Please tell me . . .

  2. Katherine, there is no organized effort (as far as I know).
It was a tag added to the monthly new books list since
it posted on Armed Forces Day here in the U.S.
