Nancy – The Labor Day Tradition Continues

Ernie Bushmiller was not averse to taking it easy for his Labor Day comic strips, and letting the readers know it.

Even Guy Gilchrist, on occasion, did the gag.

 

Olivia Jaimes seems to be embracing this tradition.
This Labor Day, for the second year in a row, she has decided to “take it easy.”

These Labor Day strips are followed by another tradition, Nancy returning to school.
Today’s being particularly enjoyable to me (your mileage may vary).

The first time I ran across Ms. Jaime’s “mashup”, I thought it was Prince Valiant in drag or maybe just doing cosplay. Either one works.
