Speed Bump cartoonist Dave Coverly spent some time in Bloomington, Indiana on his way to the hinterlands. Dave and some of his cartoon originals return to Bloomington for a good cause.

Over the course of three decades, his panels have occasionally featured jokes involving cats and dogs. Some of those panels will be available for sale during his July-August exhibit at Lennie’s in Bloomington. Profits from sales of original panels and prints will benefit the nonprofit spay/neuter clinic Pets Alive.
Coverly will be present at a reception for the show 4-6 p.m. Saturday [July 14] at Lennie’s, 1795 E. 10th St., Bloomington. Whether purchased at the reception, during the run of the exhibit or directly from Coverly through August, Pets Alive will benefit.
