Episode 216 – Kenosha 2015 Indiegogo

It’s a Cavalcade of Stars on Tall Tale Radio!  The Kenosha Festival of Cartooning takes place again this September, and there’s an Indiegogo happening to raise enough money to fund it for TWO YEARS!  Anne Hambrock, who started the Festival several years ago, wants to keep it free for everyone, and she’s here to talk about the upcoming 2015 Festival, the artists involved, the great perks available if you help out, and to help spread the word about this amazing event.

Then, I talk to three greats of the comics world about their time at the 2014 Festival and what it meant to them.  Terri Libenson of “The Pajama Diaries,Todd Clark of “Lola,” and Lincoln Peirce of “Big Nate” all stop by to lend their words and urge you to help support this most unique festival.

Click here to go to the Indiegogo and check out all the cool perks, and most of all, help us spread the word!

  1. Alan,

Thanks so much for the shout out and the link!

Tom, THANK YOU for doing the interview – a pleasure to talk to you as always!

Terri, Todd and Lincoln, thank you so much for all the kind words! We are thrilled that you all had such a great time and excited for our next festival.

To everyone else in the Daily Cartoonist community, we hope you can take a minute or two, head over to the campaign and check it out. We are happy with ANY amount of support, be it as little as $5.

On the line right now is KFOC 2016. We have enough donor commitment at the moment to scrape our way through 2015 but absolutely nothing for the following year.

We are using this fundraiser to gauge if there is truly enough enthusiasm for the fest to keep it going beyond next year.
