Rick McKee wins United Nations/Ranan Lurie Political Cartoon Award
Augusta Chronicle editorial cartoonist Rick McKee has been named as this year’s United Nations/Ranan Lurie Political Cartoon Award winner. The prize comes with a nifty $10,000. Rick is the third American to win the award.

McKee’s epitomizes the best sort of editorial cartoon. It conveys its message with brilliant simplicity. It’s well-drawn and emotionally evocative. And it’s funny! I’m in awe.
