Paul Feig named as producer for Peanuts feature film

Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Paul Feig has named as the producer for the Peanuts animated feature film slated to release in November 2015. This is his first animated feature. Previously he’s directing comedy movies such as Bridesmaids and The Heat.

Interesting choice to direct an animated film based on a beloved comic strip. I’m interested to see the result.
