This one got past me. If you’re in the greater Wisconsin area, please carve out some time to visit the second year Kenosha Festival of Cartooning. It’s a great line-up. Festival runs Thursday, September 27th through Saturday, September 29th.

6:00–8:00 pm Silent Auction to benefit Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin’s Kenosha Clinic. Rhode Center For The Arts. (Free & Open to Public) The auction will feature original art by each of the guest artists as well as the art of many other well known comic artists. There will be a catered reception at this event and the artists will be there to draw and sign for festival guests.

I attended this event last year and it was fantastic! I’m looking forward to going this year. I’d recommend it to anyone in the Midwest who is interested in cartooning or comic strips.

There are a few small changes (this was a preliminary schedule) and I have updated the schedule on the festival website.
The start times for the first presentation each day remain the same but the start times for later presentations may be slightly fluid as we move out of audience Q & A from one presenter and into the next presentation.
Please keep this in mind if you are attending and plan accordingly.
