Profiled: the prolific Randy Glasbergen

The Saturday Evening Post’s Diana Denny profiles Randy Glasbergen

There’s always someone around the corner ready to make a liar out of you. I’ve recently told you how hard it is to be a cartoonist. Except for Randy Glasbergen, who sold his first cartoons to the The Saturday Evening Post while still in high school.

Excellent selection of his cartoons in the profile too.

  1. Great “mug shot”, Randy. Nice profile and samples of your brilliant and multifaceted cartoon career. I got serious about gag cartooning after reading your book ‘How to be a Successful Cartoonist’. It’s a delight to have one of my toons appear alongside a “Glasbergen” in the latest ‘Optimist Magazine’! Awesome!
