As an artist he has created several interactive installation pieces, including the popular LuminoCITY, featured as part of Pittsburgh?s light up night for two years. In 2009 Joe received “The Work of Art Award” from Pittsburgh?s Arts Council for his work in bringing themed life drawing events to Pittsburgh.

Regarding the honor, Joe quips, “I am currently 39 years old, and happy to have been awarded this honor before my warranty expires.”
