The return of the Cartoonist’s Cartoonists

Back in the late 2007, I began a feature called, “The Cartoonist’s Cartoonists” – a tribute feature where a notable cartoonist is invited to share with The Daily Cartoonist readers the cartoonists (or artists) that they feel have had an impact on their work or whose work they admire. Think of it as a celebrity play list in the iTunes Music Store. The feature had a short run, but it’s always been on the back of mind as a feature I wanted to bring back. So today, I’m relaunching the feature with this year’s Reuben winner Dan Piraro. I have several other cartoonist’s tributes already in the can, so I expect the feature will enjoy greater longevity.

If you were not a regular reader back in 2007, 2008 check out the previous tributes.

  1. THIS was one of the reasons I was so excited to discover TDC back in 2007 when I was in the beginning stages of starting STAY TOONED! Magazine. As a matter of fact, this feature inspired me. So glad to see it back, Alan!
