On a random side note, I had an editorial published in the Denver Post a few years ago comparing Dick Cheney’s “torture” of birds to Michael Vick’s “torture” of dogs.

My guess is that the Post pulled it for the Dick Cheney satire and not the Vick storyline. They’ve pulled comics for political reasons in the past.
Always sad when a comic that seems to have some teeth gets pulled before it can bite into some people.
Apparently the Post was unable to find two sources to corroborate Tank’s veracity.
