Disney&#039;s name was signed on the comics, but he definitely did not draw them. Carl Barks did the majority of the comics books, and Al Taliafarro did a lot of the newspaper comics. For years, people didn&#039;t know who was drawing the excellent Donal Duck comics in Walt Disney&#039;s Comics and Stories and referred to Barks as the &quot;good duck artist&quot;. The one you linked to is by Taliafarro. 

Happy birthday Donald. My all time favorite cartoon character.</description>
