They make films, amazing stories and incredible characters, that happen to be done in the media of animation. As such comments like this, "Just kidding–it sounds like it will be a hit with the kiddie set and will make a fine Happy Meal tie-in." simply exemplify the problem with NA's handling of animation in general. Ben is right, if you are involved in anything art related, you must check out Studio Ghibli. Especially anything directed by Hayao Miyazaki. His movies are always incredible and inspirational. Space channel was blocking it's release here for a while.
