Maybe these guys can teach everyone at their seminar how to sandbag online comics’ polls to get their strip added at the expense of other non-tech savy creators.

Unless you have evidence, that's a pretty heavy accusation. Perhaps the advantage Tundra has is a full time marketing/sales guy that works year round to sell the strip. Contrast that to the syndicate model who give their new features a 3-6 month sales window before focusing on the next comic?

Maybe instead of throwing accusations, you come to the seminar and learn something new.

If you're relying on polls and voting to move your strip forward, there's something wrong with your strip. The work should speak for itself always.

Wow Fred! That’s quite an accusation. While stuffing the online polls is a common practice, it is something we absolutely don’t do; ever. Most editors are smart enough to be able to figure out who is stuffing ballots too.

Tundra places high in a lot of polls because it is a good strip, but we don’t even come close to winning all of the polls we are in. And believe me, if we ‘sandbagged the online comics polls,’ we would.

Fred, you say that like it's a bad thing.

Being 'tech savy' is a requirement now.
