Events are all free to the public, and when the Toonfest folks find out you're a visiting cartoonist, they treat you like royalty. There's even a couple of REALLY good parties you'll get invited to where you can schmooze with you fellow cartoonists, the Toonfest featured speakers, and the nice people who put on the event. I attended my first Toonfest about 7 or 8 years ago, and got hooked. Now it's on my calendar for every September. Marceline, MO is a charming small town, and while the Toonfest is strictly a small-town affair, you can't help but fall in love with the place. Hope to see you there!
