While Bill Amend certainly deserved his Reuben last year, Coverly and Piraro (who were the other two cartoonists in the running) have distinguished themselves as two of the best out there. Al Jaffee is a great cartoonist as well, with a very recognizable art style. So, did they announce just the Reuben nominees, or did they get around to announcing who's in the running for the other three categories? Good for all three cartoonists.
